THE ROLE:
We are looking for a motivated and entrepreneurial Equity Research Analyst to join our Banks and Asset Management research team in Stockholm.
You will be responsible for analysing companies within the Nordics Banks Sector, including Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
You will be part of a leading Banks team, with nine analysts and one spec sales with a total coverage of 50 stocks across Europe and MENA.
This is an opportunity to contribute to one of Europe’s most respected equity research platforms, working closely with senior analysts, sales teams, and institutional investors.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITES:
Conduct in-depth financial and strategic analysis of companies within the Banks and Asset managers’ sector.
Develop and maintain detailed financial models and valuation analyses
Write high-quality research reports and investment recommendations
Monitor sector trends, news flow, and key performance indicators
Integration in the European Banks and Asset Management European team, participation in sector reports
Support marketing efforts to institutional clients in collaboration with sales teams, including our Financials spec sales.
YOUR PROFILE & SKILLS:
The candidate should meet the following requirements:
A minimum of 3 years of work experience in a relevant field (sell-side, buy-side, consulting, auditing, controlling etc. or from the industry) with a strong interest in equities.
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in management, economics, engineering, or a related discipline.
Strong knowledge of accounting, financial modelling, and valuation techniques.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (experience with other analytical tools is a plus).
Fluent in English and Swedish (additional European language is an advantage).
Demonstrated passion for equities and financial markets.
