THE POSITION:

US Equity Trader is a direct report to the Head of Execution for North America. US Equity Trader will be responsible for assisting in the execution of cash trades, program trades, monitoring of algo trades, ADR conversions, and the day-to-day functions of the US equity trading desk.

General responsibilities include:

• Ensuring orders are handled professionally within compliance guidelines and applicable policies and procedures ;

• Execute program trades ;

• Execute high touch orders with care ;

• Managing ADR creations and cancellations for customers ;

• Communicating market news updates to clients in a timely and professional matter ;

• Participating in the implementation and development of new systems and controls ;

• Maintaining requisite product and technical expertise.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years of equity trading experience at an institutional Broker-Dealer ;

• Required: Series 7, 57(55) and 63 licenses ;

• Strong computer programming skills a plus ;

• Advanced knowledge of U.S. equities is essential along with knowledge of European Markets, ADRs, Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income and other securities products ;

• Experienced with order management systems, such as SS&C and Itiviti (Broadbridge) products ;

• Strong communication, presentation, organizational and leadership skills ;

• A team player who is client-focused, service-oriented and driven ;

• Solid understanding of the needs of institutional clients.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS :

Between 2 and 3 rounds of interviews: fit and technical questions.
