YOUR TASKS:

As part of the strategy to strengthen its Equity Research department in Oslo, Kepler’s Equity team is seeking ambitious young professionals who are keen to join a leading financial player with an international set-up across several different business lines.

You will work within the Equity Research team, covering Nordic financial companies with a senior analyst.

You will work with the research team on key economic and financial trends, financial modelling, company analysis and creation of ideas, research products and presentations for some of the world’s largest investors.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Contribution and support to market, sector and company analysis
• Financial modelling for companies under coverage, including valuation
• Building, maintaining and updating sector relevant models
• Crafting presentations and writing research notes to convey our views to investors

YOUR PROFILE & SKILLS:

The candidate should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor or Master’s level qualification within Finance, economics, statistics, data science or engineering
• Candidates with a good understanding of statistics, or a data science background are especially encouraged to apply
• Good knowledge of accounting, financial modelling, valuation techniques and programming is an advantage
• High level of effectiveness with Excel and Power Point
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, oral and written
• It will involve working in a fast-paced and demanding environment; hence we look for a team player who can work in a high-pressure environment.
